I used to be diagnosed with ‘honeymoon cystitis in my twenties and only rarely experienced a full blown infection. I am74 now, a type two diabetic with fibromyalgia and arthritis. Two days ago I had had my first doctors appointment in eight months for an unrelated problem and would alleviate symptoms. Well, it’s had a bonus effect! Previously in order to keep my urinary symptoms, made worse by age and diabetes, I have been drinking three litres a day which I find difficult and uncomfortable. Tonic water tastes unpleasant but just a tumbler full......no cramp and ....no dysuria!! Wonderful! I hope this information helps
