I'm not sure if I have a bladder infection. How do I know?

The common symptoms of a bladder infection are:

  • Pain when you pee
  • Feeling like you need to pee often
  • Not being able to pee very much even though you feel like you need to
  • Generally feeling gross
  • Pain
  • Cloudy urine
  • Smelly urine

The only sure way you can know you technically absolutely have a bladder infection is to have a test at the doctors. But for most people, they are able to recognise these symptoms clearly enough to be able to tell they have a bladder infection. If you are having these symptoms, time to get onto treating it. If you are having fevers and lower back pain, be aware it may have spread to your kidneys. Kidney infections are serious - Click here for more info.
