MissVause

I have had a mild UTI for the last few days but woke up at 5:30am this morning with it worse than ever. The usual symptoms such as needing to go but getting to the bathroom and not needing to go, bladder pressure etc. I got out of bed and went to my Louise Hay book as I usually do when I am sick to try and tackle the problem from both sides - psychologically and physically (I believe every health problem is a manifestation of an adverse thought process so you need to treat the cause (the mental concern) as well as the symptoms...). Louise says UTI's are due to some kind of upset with a male in your life. So to cover all bases I went through my list of men who are most present in my life - my husband, father, boss and father-in-law and said "xxx I bless you with love and I forgive you for not being the way i wanted you to be, I am free and you are free". I then added to these affirmations with Louise's recommended affirmation for a UTI, "I release the pattern in my consciousness that created this condition. I am willing to change. I love and approve of myself". I kept repeating this over and over while I went to sleep. To tackle the physical symptoms until I can get to a Dr. for anti-biotics (it's the day after Christmas AND Sunday for gods sake) I found some UTI tablets that expired last month and have been drinking water like nobody's business - water-bathroom-water-bathroom. It's now 9:30am and I'm feeling much better, probably down to 10% irritation from 80% - not bad. Can probably wait this out until I get to the Dr on Monday.
