Stress and UTIs

I was having a hard time at work as a nurse and was made to change to just morning shifts, something I rarely got. In week of doing them and continued stress from my manager, lead me to feeling huges flushes, extreme pain in my lower abdo and back, which then furthered into the more common symptoms.
More recently, having gone back to study, I had 3 assessments due in two days. Having anxiety at this point in my life didnt help my stress levels either. Two days after they were handed in, I had to leave work early and recover at home with some Ural, til i could see my GP.
I have a vague memory from when I was a teenager and had gone through the same symptoms during a stressful time.
